The New Continent
Three months of sailing, and the Captain of the Imperion, Rybeck, spotted land.
The land was beautiful, and he soon realized he has discovered an entirely new continent. Naming the continent Nimroon, after his wife back on the Xlerat Continent, he had the Rangers aboard the ship start a small colony there.
Returning to the Elvin Domain, he explained his discovery to the King, who sent his only son, Crown Prince F'ilar, to command the new colony. Soon, the news was spread, and the Medici Merchant Family, located in the Human port city of Hiiti, sent someone to organize trade agreements to the new colony.
The Colony thrived on their goods, and the continent soon turned out to be rich in rare ores. South of the colony was a massive swap, which, upon dredging the swamp itself, turn out a large excavation of gold, which was quickly exploited.
Also, journeying through the foothills, a Ranger soon found a large vein of glowing ore. Without thinking, he touched it, and the entire vein suddenly turned bright blue, and water began swirling around the exposed ore.
Naming the new ore Gladrin, the Prince soon found that the ore attunes itself to the first person who touches the raw metal, and a blade made with this metal is nearly indestructible, and actually causes more damage the stringer the peron is with spellcasting.
Commisioning a blade for himself with the larges unattuned pieces, Jenna, the Medici representative, managed to persuade him to give up the last piece of unattumned Gladrin to her, putting it in a glove so that it could not be accidentally attuned.
However, little did the new colony know, they had trespassed on ancestral lands, an unforgiveable crime which would soon be punished...
